Graffiti is beauty in the eyes of the artist

Graffiti is often seen as a blight on society. It may change the atmosphere or the general vibe of the place. Graffiti'd places can make people feel uncomfortable and less welcome.

Enclosed painted spaces like on trains and in public toilets, often heighten the feeling of being claustrophobic. We often forget though the 1980's when graffiti in many peoples views peaked. Trains inside and out were not cleaned and graffiti ruled the NYC subway. The trains were dirty, messy and un-kept. Others may see it as a work of art back when people expressed their minds and distaste in the bleak, built-up, concrete jungle.
